Longhurst's Surface
This surface was conceived by Robert Longhurst, and snow sculpted by Stan Wagon, Robert Longhurst, John Bruning, and Dan Schwalbe. It turned out that this surface is a close approximation to a minimal surface, which belongs to Kusner's family of immersed spheres with planar ends.
