| Boy's surface is an immersion of the projective plane with just one triple point. An explicit formula can be obtained by applying an inversion to Kusner's minimal projective plane with three planar ends. The deformation shown here cuts out a disk from the projective plane, showing how the Mobius strip closes to become the projective plane. |
